Brooke Castillo: Biography & Career
Brooke Castillo is a life coach, entrepreneur, author, and founder of The Life Coach School. She created the Self Coaching Model, a framework for understanding how circumstances, thoughts, feelings, actions, and results connect.
Brooke Castillo is now known as Brooke Hicks following her marriage. Readers and listeners may recognize her books, podcast, and coaching work under the name Brooke Castillo.
For more than two decades, Brooke has taught people how to understand their minds, question limiting beliefs, and take action toward the lives they want. Her work spans emotional well-being, relationships, goals, money, and business.
As the host of The Life Coach School Podcast, Brooke makes coaching concepts practical and accessible. Her books include Self Coaching 101, Stop Buffering, and What’s Possible. Through her teaching and coach training programs, she has also helped others develop the skills to coach.
Brooke built The Life Coach School into a multimillion-dollar business, applying the tools she teaches to her own decisions, ambitions, and challenges. Her approach brings together self-awareness and personal responsibility: understand what is driving your actions, decide what you want, and practice thinking and acting in ways that support it.
At the heart of her work is a purpose: to be an example of what’s possible—and help others explore what is possible for themselves.
